Private Dining

We plan dinner parties so you can host without the stress (or mess).

What if you could host a dinner party, and not spend one second in the kitchen?  Let us take the cooking off your plate, so you can focus on your guests, not the next course.  Whether you’re planning an intimate meal for two, a fun dinner party for a group of friends, or a cooking lesson with your family, we’re here to help you make memories around the table with your loved ones. Our only restriction in terms of types of food served is that it be delicious.

While you’re welcome to make our venue yours for the night, we’re also happy to come to you.  As busy new parents, we know it can be difficult to get away for a dinner reservation. If the stars don’t align for a nice meal out, let us bring dinner to you - no babysitter required.

How to book:

  • Step 1: Send us an email from our contact form with your requested reservation date(s), estimated number of diners, location (if off-site), and any dietary restrictions or special requests. Let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion!

  • Step 2: We’ll get back in touch with availability, sample menus, and pricing details.

  • Step 3: Once your menu has been confirmed, we’ll take care of the rest. All you need to do is show up with an appetite, ready for a good time.

How it works at Eader House: Enjoy a restaurant-like experience in the comfort of our historic antebellum home. You’ll have a private dining room reserved just for your party. Come hungry!

How it works in your home:  We shop, cook, serve you and your guests, and clean the kitchen while you catch up with your friends over a glass of wine. When the party ends, you can rest easy knowing the mess has already been taken care of.


Wedding & Event Catering

Five years ago, we set out to find a caterer who cared just as much about our wedding menu as we did. We weren’t interested in choosing from an exhaustive list of cookie-cutter hors d’ oeuvres (a cook can’t skimp on his reception food, after all). Instead, we wanted someone willing to bring our vision to life. With our own catering business, that is exactly what we want to do for you: create a custom catering package for your special event. Whether you’re organizing a company Christmas party or searching for someone to cater your dream wedding, we’d love to get to know you and build a menu tailored specifically to your tastes and your vision. Let’s chat!

How to book:

step one: complete our contact form

Please include your desired date, location, and preliminary guest count. If you’d like to see some sample menus from past events, we’re happy to provide them.

step two: consultation

We want to get to know you! We are happy to set up an in-person meeting or a call to discuss your event and menu concept. We want you to share your event inspiration, aesthetic, and atmosphere. If you’re dreaming of brunch reception, New Orleans themed party, etc. - this is the time to let us know all your big ideas!

step three: menu proposal

After gathering information about your event, we’ll design a proposal that includes menu options (including beverages, if desired), per-person pricing, payment plans (available for large events or weddings), and optional add-on items (like place cards, buffet/table signage, and centerpieces). We’ll work with you on any necessary menu revisions to ensure that your vision fully comes to life.

step four: complete booking

Once we’ve nailed down all of your event details in a final proposal, we’ll provide you with a catering contract. We want to make sure you know exactly what to expect from us leading up to and on the day of your event. A signed contract and deposit will reserve your date.

After you’ve booked, don’t worry - we’ll stay in touch. As your event date nears, we’ll check in to confirm your timeline, service and location logistics, and to review any questions or concerns that may have arisen during your planning process. You can also reach out at any time!

Weddings & Receptions

Eader House is available as a venue (and caterer!) for weddings, receptions, elopements, and vow renewal ceremonies.

Small Event Rentals


Starting at $250

We are happy to offer rentals of Eader House and/or the grounds for your special event.  The house can be rented in its entirety or on a room-by-room basis, depending upon your needs.  Please contact us for availability.

We would love to cater your event, but also allow food to be brought in from outside caterers or hosts.

Common small events include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Bridal showers, coffees, and teas

  • Baby showers

  • Engagement parties

  • Rehearsal dinners

  • Anniversary parties

  • Holiday parties

  • Business meetings/events


Photo Sessions

$50 per hour
$75 for a 2-hour session

outdoor only sessions

$35 per hour

prom/graduation photos

For prom, graduation, or other special event photos, please call or email for availability and group session rates. Out of respect for those students that have scheduled portraits at the house, appointments must be made in advance.
